SNAP REVIT SECTIONS TO MOVE OR ROTATE

How about one of those classic changes in your project where something got rotated after you had already fully worked on a section.

You want to simply rotate the section to the new alignment, but for some reason section lines do not SNAP to other model or annotation objects unless............you cycle the head or tail to no symbol. Try this one.
Establish a reference plane, a grid, or any other model object where you want your section to go along.

Cycle head and tail of section until you see no symbol.

Now move your section from one end, now being able to SNAP to the reference plane.

Finally Rotate as you would anything else, you are now able to snap to both ends onto the reference plane. Section is now perfectly aligned!
